LP (2023)



Predicated on the concept of duality. Defined by different energies – day/night, up/down, right/wrong – the idea of being in two places at once becomes clearer when we consider one side often exists outside of conventional reality, in the subconscious. This was communicated visually throughout the rollout by way of surreal imagery, shifted perspectives and split-screens to establish the yin-yang nature of the concept.

Nominated for traditional R&B/Soul recording of the year at the 2021 juno awards while racking up 25+ million streams since its release, proverb established what I like’s ongoing relationship with dylan after collaborating on his merch designs and release campaign.
